They are all very skittish compared to our Barred Rocks, Sapphire Gems and RIRs. The ones with the hairdo are mixed with cream legbar. They are known to be flighty and skittish. I ordered 2 Starlight Green, ( AND 2 Prairie Bluebells and 3 Easter Egger, Aspen Spitzenhauser, Buckeye, ISA Brown, etc.) from Hoover Hatchery. When they came yesterday, I was really surprised to see wing feathers on them (clearly 1-2 day old chicks). Previous chicks from other breeds have been fluffy or barely had the start of feathers.
