Certified warranty just went out as well they are telling me!Not drive or just shrivel up and die. The hissing is almost certainly a leak. The system has a low pressure switch that prevents the AC unit from turning on if the refrigerant pressure drops too low. On the Acadia it most often is an expensive repair.
