It would have been easier to tell you that the L30 head has the exact same intake and exhaust port as the L31 head. The only difference in the casting is the chamber. Also the L30 casting is machined for a smaller intake valve. For this reason the L30 is not quite as good but it is a far better head than any of the previous 305 heads.
