Since you are going to be submitting all your info to ATF and building a rifle, for that piece of mind, you will need 6 USA made parts on the SP5 to be 922r compliant. Under a critical eye there is a slight bit of play when it's extended but not enough to be a worry, I don't notice it when I'm out shooting. The surface area of the part that’s shouldered is small, so it kinda digs in and is less than comfortable, even with how soft shooting the AP5 is. I would go for something like the collapsible SB that you can swap out the brace end for a stock end if you SBR it.
