I'm sure there are several ways to install, but for what it's worth I chose to slip the switch behind the left foot trim kick panel and ran the cord underneath the rocker trim panel.I disabled AFM on my 08 via tuner. With the AFM it averaged 16.5 mpg and burned a qt in 3,000 miles . With the AFM off it averages just over 15 mpg and burns no oil between changes. The mpg number is thrown off a little bit because I dont drive it to work everyday anymore, short trips a lot.I understand the reason and logic for AFM but IMHO, the words four cylinders and Corvette should never be used in the same sentence.
