I made a post somewhat recently on trying to choose between Cloistered Cleric or Champion for my 2nd PF2e game, and after some responses, as well as personal research on my end, I've settled on the Champion class! It seems to be an interesting spin on a defensive, tanky character, and one I'm excited to play!

Fighters are able to protect allies fairly decently with opportunity attacks and shields up. Ironicly, flickmace + shield is a fine tank build. Summoners are able to get in the way, threaten space, and have a pretty decent HP*AC pool.
