I had set the trip odometer the day I bought it and it's averaging almost 17, including some mild camper towing. Tank to tank I'm seeing better than 18 with regens.Yea, it is generally 1 turn to 1 1/2 turn after the filter makes contact with the housing (depending on the filter). If it is that tight on there, be prepared for a fight to the death with that filter that is on there. according to the capacity charts on gm-techlink the oil capacity has been 10 qts. on both 2019/2020 even though the filters changed. The filter on the 2019 L5D is the smaller filter just like the 2020 L5P and it takes 10 qts. as well.
