Alright, look, gonna be honest. I use multi-hit, plenty of other players use multi-hit, it makes the game less tedious when swinging a melee weapon. It's not bad at all, it's just a matter of preference of how to play it. First and foremost is to remember that this is a game. Multi hit was fine for build 40 and below (kinda), but with the combat variety added to build 41, it is quite simply an outdated mechanic. If it was added as a level 7 weapon skill for long weapons, axes, and spears I could accept this, but this is actually a very difficult skill to use in a combat situation. With multi hit on, the game turns into a hack and slash borefest, where even larger groups are easy to deal with from the get go.

Multi-hit simply makes it so nearly every single melee weapon can hit up to 3 zeds at the same time. Basically every melee weapon except small knives or pens/forks and such. Its on per-weapon basis. Thrusting weapon usually have no multi-hit. Slashing weapons and short blunts have 2x. Long blades and blunts have 3x. Sledgehammer has 4x. Not sure about the baseball bat can hit 4x, at least in v41. In v40, maybe it is possible. Max push seem to be 3x if they're packed close enough.I don't play with multi hit but I have some suggestions to balance it. Only long and heavy two-handed weapons or blades coupled with a high strength level. 2 zombies max and no multi push. I feel pushing should be limited to 1 zombie because it looks silly to pushing 3 zombies down with one arm while holding a weapon. 2.5.
